Dunnage
Indian Mill Plank produces dunnage for stacking and bundling scaffold planks for storage and shipment. Dunnage are pieces of wood placed under and above a stack of scaffold plank at each banding point. They serve several purposes. They:
- Distribute the force of straps and bands over a broader surface to prevent damage to the plank from the strapping and banding processes.
- Reduce the likely hood of damage to planks from movement during shipment.
- Provide space for lift forks between plank bundles so they can be moved as needed
Indian Mill offers grooved dunnage for nylon strapping and steel banding. We can include extra dunnage in your plank order for use around your yard or supply a pallet of dunnage material separately. Use our online quote request form or call to order dunnage today.
